If you know anything about the staff of DeLeers Legal, you know that we have big hearts for philanthropy.
In fact, this entire firm was built off of the premise of charity. DeLeers Legal was born out of Deb’s desire to use her expertise to impact our wider communities! Whether it’s volunteering for her kids’ schools or donating to the American Heart Association, Deb loves to give back to her community.
When we help others to succeed, it raises everybody up. We encourage everyone to use their skills, gifts, and talents to help others, too.
In honor of this giving spirit, we wanted to draw attention to an excellent – and easy! – way we can all give back to those in our immediate community.
For the past 5 years, the Green Bay Packers and the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation have teamed up for a huge 24 hour event: Give BIG Green Bay!
From noon on February 23rd until noon on February 24th, nonprofit organizations in Green Bay and the surrounding areas will be participating in the mega-fundraising event.
The Green Bay Packers Foundation has donated a $250,000 grant to create a matching pool of funds for all participating charities. They also donate all program operating fees for the campaign to ensure that all $250,000 goes directly to the participating nonprofits.
After the Give BIG Green Bay event, the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation will distribute the matching pool funds to the nonprofits, depending on how much they’ve all raised. For example, if a charity raises 10% of the total amount of funds raised during the event, they will receive those funds PLUS 10% of the matching pool funds.
All nonprofits are reviewed and required to meet certain criteria, including the following:
A verified 501(c)(3) organization or governmental entity
Provide direct support to clients
Primarily serve Brown County residents
Conduct business without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, or gender
Participating in Give BIG Green Bay is an excellent way to give back to those right in our community of Brown County!
We will be participating by donating to our favorite charities and we want you to join us!
To encourage participation, everyone who donates to a charity during the Give BIG Green Bay campaign can submit their name to be entered into a free estate plan giveaway*! This is our way of saying thank you for supporting our community.
All you have to do is to enter is to donate at least $25 to your favorite Give BIG Green Bay participating charity starting at noon on February 23rd through noon on February 24th. When you donate, don’t do it anonymously. Be sure to enter your name so that we can verify your contribution.

These are just suggestions! Any donation to any charity participating in Give BIG Green Bay is eligible to be submitted for our drawing. We do not care who you donate to. We just want you to join us in giving back!
Remember: a little bit can go a long way when it comes to helping those in our community.
*Free estate plan has a value of up to $950.00. Winner will be selected randomly and announced in March 2022.
